We provide an opportunity to RISE I can and I will are not the same thing… When people caught in poverty are shown new possibilities, provided with tradable skills and assisted to capitalise on them, they have potential to ascent out of poverty. A skills development and job creation project of SAACI within the Events, Hospitality and Tourism Industry. The ultimate aim at the Rise project is to develop, equip and support marginalised and previously disadvantaged South African woman and men to establish and grow their own businesses or get sustainable jobs in the Events, Hospitality and Tourism sectors. We offer unique African Lifestyle products like bags, table wear, mousepads, small concrete products, keyrings, clocks, picnic blankets, Leather bow ties, soap and children's toys made by our Rise project which is a partnership between ECTA Creative Solutions and SAACI (South African Association for the Conference Industry). We focus a lot on recycling - using old dog food bags for shopping bags, old shopping bags fused together to create the inside lining for our cosmetic bags etc. With fresh ideas and good skills development - we are bringing these upmarket products to the Tourism, Hospitality and Conference industry.
