Sustainability Benchmark Solutions (Pty) Ltd (SBS) was first established in 2001 as The Heritage Environmental Management Company, providing environmental consulting, systems and certification to the hospitality and tourism sectors. Our business first certified MICE facilities in 2002 when the Sandton Convention Centre was recognised to coincide with the 2002 Earth Summit.

In 2020, the Heritage Management System was refined and today it offers management and consulting services across a wide range of industries and businesses, with specific emphasis on the MICE sector and sustainable event consulting and certification.  Our experience in event certification under the Heritage Eco-Events label is unmatched in southern Africa and we are proud to have been associated with some of the most prestigious exhibitions, conventions and conferences in the region over the past fifteen years.
