EDB Hospitality & Events was started in January 2009 by Ettiene de Bruyn. Ettiene, who has always had a passion for sports, started off his career as a professional sportsman (pro Rugby player) and cricketer. He moved onto sports administration at Affies, to a social development business in Cullinan and in 2009 found his calling in hosting events and entertaining people when he started his own company – EDB Hospitality & Events. As a hands-on person and perfectionist, Ettiene has channelled his sports enthusiasm and expertise into his business and has grown the business from initially providing Suites at cricket stadiums, to all sports events and concerts, merchandise, event planning, dinner and shows, functions, and suite management. EDB provides a VIP product and creates memorable experiences for it’s clients.
